The first version is built for fast validation, so the core conversion flow does not require login or payment.
What is deferred
Batch conversion, persistent storage, API keys, paid checkout, and advanced OCR are intentionally left out of v1.

This site is not affiliated with Microsoft. MarkItDown is an open-source project associated with Microsoft; this website is an independent tool-site experiment. v1 uses temporary file conversion and does not store files permanently.

Will files be saved?
No. v1 uses temporary files for conversion and deletes them after the request finishes.
