Billing and subscription management

MarkItDown AI is a browser-based document-to-Markdown service operated from Hong Kong. The Flex Pack costs 14.90 USD once for 300 Enhanced pages valid for 180 days. Pro Monthly costs 29.90 USD per month for 1000 Enhanced pages per successfully paid billing period.

Checkout is available only when the relevant plan is enabled. Stripe shows the final amount and whether the purchase is one-time or recurring before payment.

Flex Pack

  • The Flex Pack is a one-time credit purchase, not a subscription.
  • It does not renew and does not grant the full Pro Browser Basic limits.
  • Unused credits expire 180 days after purchase.
  • Canceling Pro Monthly does not remove a separate Flex Pack that is still valid.

Managing Pro Monthly

Signed-in subscribers can open Stripe Customer Portal from /settings/billing.

  • Update the payment card used for future renewals.
  • View invoices and receipts.
  • Cancel future renewal.
  • Pro access normally remains through the paid period after cancellation, unless payment fails or access is suspended for a dispute, fraud, or abuse.
  • Canceling renewal does not create a prorated refund.

Receipts, failed payments, and refunds

Stripe sends automatic payment and refund receipts to the checkout email. If a renewal fails, Pro enters a three-day grace period. A failed renewal does not grant the next billing period's Enhanced allowance before payment succeeds.

A paid order is eligible for a full refund when requested within seven days and none of that order's paid allowance has been used. Duplicate charges and verified material service failures are reviewed separately. See the Refund Policy.

Card statement description

Customers should expect MARKITDOWN AI on their card statement. If a charge is unfamiliar, contact support before opening a dispute so we can help identify it.
